The Event
The flow of people, goods, capital, information and ideas has made our world a global village. Mobility is the reason for the existence of today's world order. NIPP Mobility Challenge emerged with the aim to address the business problems that are in need of solutions, to improve mobility and as a result, improve how we travel, transport and exchange information.
The NIPP Mobility Challenge will kick-start the process to foster engagement between corporates & innovative technology ventures and connect emerging solutions with existing industry problems. The event will also pave the way towards building a comprehensive forum for enterprises and start-ups to come together and explore new opportunities for ideation and collaboration.

1. How should I register for the challenge?
Register as a new user, by clicking the ‘Register’ button in the portal. Registration is mandatory for participating in the challenge.
2. What is the eligibility criteria for participating in the NIPP Mobility Challenge?
Open to students, enterprise ready startups.
3. What should be the team size?
Startups: Maximum 2 participants will be invited for the Finale.
Students: Team of 2.
4. Can there be individual participation?
No. You can only participate as part of a student team or a startup – no individual participation is allowed.
5. Can we submit our solutions for more than one use-case or theme?
Yes, you can. However, if shortlisted for more than one submission for the Finale, you will only be able to present the solution with the higher score, at the finale event. i.e. you can only compete with your top ranking submission in the final round.
6. Can we submit multiple solutions for one use-case?
No. You are only allowed to submit one solution per use-case.
7. Who will own the IP generated as part of or as a result of the NIPP Mobility Challenge?
The rights to any existing IP will remain with participants (startups, students, corporate). The respective use case sponsors (corporates) will have the prerogative to initiate discussions regarding transfer of IP rights after the Challenge. NASSCOM will not be party to the discussions on IP between Corporate and Startup/ Student team.
8. Where will the finale event be conducted?
The finale event will be conducted at the NASSCOM 10,000 Startups Warehouse, Bangalore, on 20th June, 2019.
9. When and where will the winners be declared?
The winners will be declared at the finale event on 20th June, 2019, at the NASSCOM 10,000 Startups Warehouse, Bangalore. The winners will then be felicitated on 21st June, 2019, during the NIPP Innovation Day at the Leela Palace, Bangalore.
10. Will the organizers take care of travel and accommodation for the finale event/pre-event meet-ups?
No. Teams are expected to take care of their travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses on their own.
11. What should I carry for the finale event?
Carry:
Laptop.
Charger.
Required convertors/adaptors.
Valid & Original Government ID proof.
If you are a student: original & photocopy of consent letter from college that you are representing, clearly stating the following 1) you are a student of the current batch in the college with course details 2) no objection from college for your participation In the NIPP Mobility Challenge 3) confirmation that the college has communicated to and has the consent of the parent/s/guardian of the student, for participating in the challenge.

Judging
The final decisions of the judges are to be based on the following parameters:

At the end of Challenge, teams should be prepared with a presentation of their solution (as per guidelines that will be specified), as their final submission.
The jury will assign a score, which will then determine the ranking of each participating team. In the event of a tie, subsequent voting will be held until the winning teams have been selected. Format is subject to change.
The winners will be invited to the NIPP Innovation Day (21st June 2019). Jury decision is not open to be revisited or challenged.

Must not impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Must not victimize, harass, degrade, or intimidate an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability
Adhere to rules and guidelines shared by the organising team.
Terms
If information provided during online registration is found to be incomplete and/or inaccurate, even if related to just one team member, the entire Team concerned will be excluded from the competition
Teams may not be changed once the competition has begun
It is mandatory that submissions/ideas/solutions/finale presentation deck are your original work and you have secured all rights necessary from third parties, to submit the Entry for the challenge.
Please note that after the Event you and/or your Entry may be publicized in advertisements related to the Event. These advertisements may be distributed online and posted on our site, our affiliates’ sites or third-party websites.
While we reserve the rights set forth above, we are not obligated to use your Entry for any purpose, even if it has been selected as a winning Entry.
